Mission Statement of The United Christian Church

Our MISSION as a congregation is provide a Spiritual Home to English Speaking people in Caracas in order to foster and develop a relationship with Jesus Christ through:

• Worship Services.
• Rites and Sacraments.
• Education and study for people of all ages.
• Pastoral Counselling. 
• Prayer Ministry.
• Christian fellowship in Members´ homes as well as the facilities offered by our Church premises.

We do this within an International framework in the English language and are open to all seeing God´s presence in their lives.

 

 

Our DUTY as a congregation is to accept the challenge of discipleship and being a part of God´s family here in Caracas, Venezuela, by:

• Providing a warm welcome to newcomers.
• Extending help and care to people in need.
• Supporting with our prayers, our time and our resources individuals and organizations serving the least fortunate in Caracas.
• Initiating and sponsoring service groups to increase the well being in Venezuela.
• Challenging and supporting one another as we seek to grow in our relationship with God.

Our OPPORTUNITY as a congregation is to challenge and support one another as we grow in Christian understanding and dedication:

• For the Maturity of the individual.
• For the Benefit of the congregation.
• For the Welfare of the community.
• For the Glory of God.
