It is more blessed to give than to receive

The United Christian Church is an independent, non-denominational, international church. Therefore we receive no support from a central organization but depend entirely on donations for financial support: from our congregation, special events, gifts from those moved by God, and additional donations received for the use of our beautiful facilities. 

The Lord promises to bless us as we faithfully pay our tithes and offerings

He said, “Bring  all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in my house, and prove me now herewith … if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it”

Malachi 3:10

How does the United Christian Church use your tithes and offerings?

Some uses of regular tithes and offerings:

•      Maintain, update, and operate the temple and offices.

•      Provide for an English speaking pastor.

•      Maintain a manse for the use of the pastor and his family

•      Pay salaries to our employees: office assistant and concierges as well as fees for outside assistants such as an accountant and legal expenses.

•      Provide funds and materials for the choir, pianist, choir director, and additional musicians and voices for special occasions.

•      Provide funds for Christian Education

•      Provide for hospitality items

•      Support  Church programs for our children and young people

•      Support the Benevolence Committee by tithing 10% of the Church income.  The funds are allocated by committee members to needy Christian organizations and a significant part of the funds are set aside to assist  a growing number of our own congregation members who are in need.

            Special donations are used as requested by the donor.
